Reality star, Georgia Kousoulou, has come out in support of bread – all bread. She has joined the UKs flour millers and bakers in their efforts to get young women to re-evaluate bread.  Typically it is one of the first foods shunned by those looking to lose weight. Health professionals warn against eliminating food groups as this can leave the body depleted of vital nutrients. Also, by not fueling up on starchy carbohydrates dieters can be more tempted to snack in between meals which can make losing weight less likely.

It has got to the stage now where women feel guilty after they eat bread. Georgia and the bakers, wanted to change that. Bread IS a healthy option – crammed with calcium, iron, B vitamins and carbohydrate. It is a low-fat, low-sugar option with only 80 calories a slice. A dieters’ dream product in fact.
